She's afraid to believe in magic.

Stable, sensible schoolteacher Gwen DeClerk is enchanted by her famous magician neighbor, Jeremy Kane. The sexy globe-trotter appeals to a reckless side of her she didn't even know existed – but can she trust that those feelings are more than illusion? He says he appreciates the peace and quiet he shares with her – but secretly, she longs for passion and fireworks suitable to an affair with an international showman.

Charmed by his prim new friend, Jeremy finds himself wanting a lifetime with her. He's had enough of drifting and he's ready to settle down. But how can he convince Gwen that he finds as much excitement and challenge in her arms as he ever has on stage?
